(原文) HI everyone!!! After such a hot summer, you must be so happy to have fall just around the corner!!! For me, of course, I am excited about fall for another reason. We finally get our tv shows back! yay!!! And yes, many of our favorite celebrities have been busy filming the new seasons of their shows, so I thought today I would give you a few updates.
First of all, one of my favorite shows, "GLEE", has been going through some changes here and there for Season 4. Main character Rachel (actress Lea Michele) is going off to college in NY, so they have been filming her there. And making a debut as Rachel's dance teacher on Sept. 13 is none other than actress Kate Hudson!!!! I am sure you are thinking "wow, how much fun they must be having filming the show together!" Well, unfortunately it seems that Lea Michele is QUITE the diva and very hard to work with. So Kate Hudson has been hanging out with the REST of the cast in between takes and has been keeping her distance from Michele. Let's just hope that we get along on camera because Kate Hudson is scheduled to appear in SIX episodes of the new season of "GLEE".
Another change in the cast has been with actor Chris Colfer, who plays Rachel's gay best friend, Kurt. He is also in NY for school, and has the wonderful Sarah Jessica Parker as his singing/dancing mentor on the show. And they seem to LOVE working together. In fact, just recently actor Chris Colfer tweeted a picture of him and Sarah Jessica Parker together, writing "I love her-I lover her! Can we keep her?" Well, it's good to know that SOME of the cast in "GLEE" aren't divas, isn't it?
Another show that people are dying to see again on the little screen is the upcoming season of "Mad Men". And the cast are getting ready to start filming again at the beginning of September. But right now the show is currently nominated for 17 Emmy nominations, including Best Drama, Writing and Best Actor and Best Actress. In fact, the show broke the record for most nominated basic cable drama of all time, garnering 85 nominations over the years!!! Not bad! However, for some reason, it seems that Jon Hamm can't win that coveted Best Actor Emmy. Many people blame this another extremely popular show here in the U.S. called "Breaking Bad" (on the same television network as "Mad Men") And Bryan Cranston (the lead actor in "Breaking Bad" and also famous for his role as the father in "Malcolm In the Middle") seems to always beat the competition and walk away with the Best Actor in Drama award.
However last year, because the show was on hiatus, he wasn't nominated. So everyone thought that Jon Hamm would FINALLY win the best Actor Award. But NO!! He didn't! Instead actor Kyle Chandler took home the award for his incredible performance in the now cancelled television show "Friday Night LIghts". I must admit I was VERY happy, because "Friday Night Lights" is probably one of the best tv shows that has been on television in a very long time. And Kyle Chandler was definitely a BIG reason that the show was so good. However I AM hoping that this year Jon Hamm can walk away with a Best Actor Emmy award. He deserves it! And for those of you that are interested, I will be covering the Emmys this year for the official broadcaster of the awards in Japan, AXN Television. I hope to see you there!!
