HI readers! I hope that you are all enjoying the fall season! And with that, of course, comes all the new tv shows and new seasons of our favorite tv shows!! yayyyyy! tanoshimiiii! But before I go into that, I had the wonderful opportunity to work with AXN channel for the Emmys about a week ago, hosting the red carpet. And I had a great time! I got to interview one of my favorite actors, Steve Carell ("The Office"), along with Josh Charles (one of my favorite characters from "The Good Wife"), as well as some of the cast from "Mad Men". It was a wonderful experience to get to see everyone on the big day. One of my favorite parts of the night was when Kyle Chandler( "Friday Night Lights") won Outstanding Actor for a Drama Series. I must tell you that the show "Friday Night Lights" is probably one of the BEST shows that I have seen on television in a very long time, so I was very disappointed to hear that it was ending after 5 seasons. But I am very glad that he was recognized for his amazing work in the show.
NOW...some of the shows that you will want to look out for... first of all, from what I understand BOTH "Mad Men" and "The Good Wife" have some major changes prepared for us in this next season. I tried getting some hints from them as to WHAT exactly some of the changes would be, but unfortunately both casts have to keep things TOP SECRET.
Now one of my favorite new shows SO far is actually a show which features Sarah Michelle Gellar (also known as "Buffy the Vampire Slayer"). The name of the show is Ringer, and it is a suspense/thriller show currently being shown on The CW (home to "Gossip Girl", "The Vampire Diaries" etc.)I don't really want to go into many details, but basically Sarah plays TWO people in this show....twin sisters. And so far what has happened in the first two episodes is pretty riveting! So I highly recommend keeping your eye and ears out for this one!
Another show that I am enjoying is on ABC, called "Revenge", and features Emily VanCamp (actress from "Brothers and Sisters") as Emily Thorne, a woman who comes back to The Hamptons to get revenge on the people that tear her family apart and ruin her life. So far there has been one action-packed pilot episode and it is looking to be a pretty interesting show with many twists and turns.
Finally one of my favorite shows officially has a new boss! Yes, I am talking about hit tv series "The Office", which featured Steve Carrel as Michael Scott until he decided to leave the show at the end of the last season. Well, they now have a new C.E.O. (James Spader) AND a new manager/boss, Ed Helms. And it looks like the fun will be continuing for our favorite office in Scranton, Pennsylvania.Let the fun and games begin!!!
